Our client is a European boutique consulting firm providing accounting, tax/corporate and HR

services. For this client, Talent Fishers is looking for a Business Developer and Consultant focusing

primarily on German, Swiss and Austrian companies (secondarily on Benelux companies) operating

in China.

Job location: Shanghai

Level 1: junior profile

Main duties:

• Prospect for new clients and business partners
• Develop relationships with new clients and business partners
• Manage the existing accounts and partnerships
• Support the project managers in the delivery of the services
• Coordinate with other offices in Asia and Europe to foster cross-selling opportunities
• Attend networking events to develop brand reputation and leads
• Contribute to develop new tools and best practices to optimize the efficiency our sales process
• Enforce the Business development and Sales strategy along with the Asia CEO

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social sciences. Other majors may also be considered if supported by relevant experience.
• German native, fluency in English. Fluency in Dutch or French will be considered a plus.
• Within 30 years old with previous experience in the consulting industry in China.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and client presentation experience.
• History of achievement and ability to generate and converting new business leads.
• Existing network at MD/CEO level of DACH companies in China.
• Proactive attitude with ability to work independently.
• Willing to work in China and grow with the company for at least 5 years.
• Eligible for a Chinese work permit.

Level 2: senior profile

The company will also consider senior profiles (including freelancers or consulting companies’ owners)

already active in complementary consulting areas (provided that there is no conflict of interest). The ideal

candidate should have his/her own network, be well-integrated into relevant business communities, and

possess the ability to generate new business opportunities. In this scenario, the company will offer candidates

a highly attractive commission-based package.
