About us

MEFLAB is a Chinese company and the sister company of Michiels SA, a Belgian company that sources and supplies medical equipment and consumables to hospitals and partners, mainly in Africa. MEFLAB is setting up its office in Changzhou to strengthen sourcing and quality control in China.

Key responsibilities

1. Sourcing and quotations

• Find and contact suppliers and manufacturers for the products we request

• Get quotations and compare them on price, lead time, MOQ and payment terms

• Check product specifications with suppliers and make sure they match our requirements

• Collect technical documents: datasheets, certificates, test reports, user manuals

2. Product inspection labelling)

• Write clear inspection reports with photos

• Follow up on non-conformities with suppliers

• Visit factories and inspect products before shipment (quantity, conformity to specifications, packaging,

• Help with our online sales and sourcing activity on platforms such as Alibaba and Made-in-China 

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in international trade, engineering, biomedical studies or a related field

• 1 to 3 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing or quality control (experience with medical equipment is a plus)

• Good written and spoken English or French; native Mandarin

• Able to read and understand technical specifications

• Organised, rigorous and able to work on your own

• Willing to travel to factories in China

• Good with Office tools (Excel, Word, email)
