The Belgian Beer Garden Returns to PAC This September

Author: Shanghai BenCham

The Belgian Beer Garden @ PAC is back for its third edition, and this one is shaping up to be the biggest yet. Across two weekends, September 4–6 and September 11–13, PAC's outdoor plaza in the heart of Jing'an will once again be transformed into an authentic European-style beer garden. Co-organized by the Benelux Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai and officially supported by the Consulate General of Belgium in Shanghai, the event is proudly hosted by PAC with Lolypop Events bringing it all together on the event side.

This edition will feature more than 80 different Belgian beers, with familiar names like Kasteel, Duvel, Vedett, Chimay, Delirium, Westmalle, Lindemans, and Stella Artois, alongside newcomers such as Broeder Jacob, Fruli, Boon, and Carolus, with several brands using the festival to introduce new launches to the Shanghai crowd. On the food side, expect Belgian and European comfort-food classics: crispy fries, waffles, mussels, European sausages, juicy burgers, and more delicious festival dishes.

The atmosphere will evolve throughout each day, with an international DJ lineup taking things from relaxed daytime beer-garden vibes into a livelier evening energy, complemented by live stage games, classic European beer challenges, and surprise prizes. Entry is free of charge.
