From Luxembourg to Shanghai: Here Housing & Coliving Founder Featured in Paperjam

Mathias Estevez-Nousiain, founder of our member Here Housing & Coliving, has been featured in Paperjam, a leading Luxembourg business publication.

The article follows Mathias, from a six-month exchange in Shanghai in 2016 to a decade in China. It describes how he started by helping fellow students settle in, and how that grew into Here Housing & Coliving, which he founded in 2020 after the pandemic forced him to rebuild his earlier activity. Today Here supports more than 1,000 clients a year with housing, relocation and settling-in services, and has expanded beyond Shanghai to Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu and Hong Kong. The piece also covers other ventures such as Studcasa, the student housing platform he took over in 2026, and Insidoor, a network connecting newcomers with locals in their destination city.

The profile also looks ahead: Mathias plans to open a real estate agency in Luxembourg in 2027, bringing back the experience he gained in Shanghai.
