New Member Spotlight: KRE8IVE STUDIO
KRE8IVE STUDIO is a cross‑border digital marketing agency with headquarters in the Netherlands and France and an operation team in China. They help international brands build an authentic and effective digital presence across China’s social and digital ecosystem.
They combine local market intelligence with a strong understanding of global brands, supported by end-to-end creative production and channel strategy.
Their services cover the full digital journey, including brand localization, multi-platform content strategy across WeChat, Xiaohongshu and Douyin, visual and motion design, GEO-driven content, social media operations, and account management.
Their goal is simple: to help international brands stay true to their global identity while becoming locally relevant, visible, and engaging in China.
What makes KRE8IVE STUDIO unique within China's creative and digital marketing landscape?
Many international companies understand the importance of China, but their headquarters often have limited visibility into how local platforms, consumer behavior, content trends and digital ecosystems actually work. We act as that bridge, bringing hands-on China market expertise directly to global teams and turning local complexity into clear, practical strategies.
We also move quickly with the market. China’s digital landscape evolves extremely fast, so we continuously integrate emerging opportunities into our services. GEO is a good example: as AI search started becoming more relevant for B2B brands, we added GEO optimization into our scope this year, so our clients could adapt without falling behind.
Another key strength is our in-house production capability. We manage the full video process from concept and scripting to shooting, motion design and post-production, which gives us greater consistency, flexibility and quality control.
Our scope also goes beyond social media. We support international brands across the wider China digital journey, including website design and development, social strategy and operations, content production, GEO, and digitally connected offline activations.
Most importantly, we see ourselves as a long-term growth partner rather than a one-off supplier. We work closely with our clients as their China presence develops, adapting our support as their business, audience and ambitions grow.

Can you share a project that you're especially proud of and explain what made it successful?
One project we’re particularly proud of is our work for B2B manufacturing client Groz-Beckert.
The main challenge was to bring trendy, locally relevant digital solutions into the brand’s communication while staying true to its global brand identity and technical positioning.
For their major trade shows, we combined creative offline experiences with customized digital activations to connect on-site engagement with wider social visibility. We transformed their industrial products and technical expertise into more engaging and shareable content for Chinese audiences, helping the brand grow its organic WeChat following by over 7,000.
We also helped build up their video content across different formats, including trade shows, product introductions, customer testimonials and industry-focused topics. Their WeChat Channels performance has been particularly strong, with several videos reaching over 100,000 views and helping the brand connect with both existing and potential customers.
What made the project successful was finding the right balance between local digital trends and the brand’s global identity, making a technical B2B brand feel fresh and relevant in China without losing its professionalism and credibility.
What are the biggest design and digital marketing trends you're seeing in 2026, and which ones should businesses pay attention to?
One of the biggest trends in 2026 is obviously AI, but we’re moving beyond simply using AI to generate images or copy. Businesses are now integrating AI throughout the creative process, from concept development and personalization to video production and customer experience. The important thing is to use AI to increase creativity and efficiency, rather than allowing everything to look AI-generated.
From a marketing perspective, AI search and GEO are becoming increasingly important. More people are turning to AI platforms for recommendations, comparisons and information instead of relying only on traditional search engines. We’ve also seen a growing number of B2B clients asking about GEO optimization, which is why we added it to our service offering this year.
What are the most common mistakes businesses make when building their online presence in China?
A polished global corporate video may not automatically work on WeChat Channels or Douyin. Local platforms often require faster storytelling, stronger hooks, subtitles, and more platform-native formats.
Slow loading speed, overseas hosting, blocked services, or poor mobile performance can make a global website difficult to use for Chinese visitors. That’s why we often recommend international brands to build a dedicated Chinese website hosted locally. With GEO becoming increasingly important, having a strong local website can also help improve visibility across Chinese search and AI platforms.
Many B2B brands mainly post product launches, company news, or corporate announcements. In most cases, practical content performs better: applications, tutorials, customer cases, comparisons, technical insights, and real results.
