Save the Date! The Silver Jubilee Gala 2026
On November 28, 2026, the Benelux Chamber of Commerce will celebrate a very special milestone: 25 years in China.
The Silver Jubilee Gala will bring the Benelux business community together at The Portman Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai, for an evening of fine dining, live music, entertainment, lucky draw prizes and the annual Benelux Chamber Awards.
Starting from 7:00 PM, the evening will celebrate the people and companies that have helped shape our community over the past 25 years, while looking ahead to the next generation of businesses, teams, innovators and entrepreneurs building their future between the Benelux and China.
Four Awards Take Centre Stage
This year, four awards will be presented during the Silver Jubilee Gala:
The KBC Best Company Award
The KBC Best Company Award recognises companies that have distinguished themselves within their industry and successfully adapted to changing customer expectations and market demands.
Candidates are invited to demonstrate their strength in areas including visibility, brand awareness, positioning in the market, cooperation with stakeholders and building the bridge between China and their headquarters.
The RITUALS Best Team Award
Behind every successful company is a strong team. The RITUALS Best Team Award puts the spotlight on the people behind the organisation and recognises outstanding teams within the Benelux business community.
The MELEXIS Innovation Award
The MELEXIS Innovation Award celebrates innovation within the Benelux business community and puts forward companies that are contributing to what comes next.
The WINEX NextGen Award
New for this year's Gala, the WINEX NextGen Award celebrates young entrepreneurial talent and the next generation building their future in China.
For many young professionals, China starts as an internship, study experience or first professional opportunity. For some, that first step develops into something much bigger: launching a startup, building a career in China or continuing their studies and entrepreneurial journey here.
Exclusive to the NextGen Award, an RMB 10,000 prize pool will be shared among the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finalists, providing practical support for the next step in their entrepreneurial journey or new business venture.
How Do the Awards Work?
Applications open on September 7 and close on October 18, 2026.
Following the application period, the Benelux Chamber Executive Committee will review the eligible candidates and select the finalists.
The finalists will be announced on October 26, after which public pre-voting will begin. From October 26 until November 22, the Benelux Chamber will introduce and promote the finalists through its communication channels.
The public pre-vote represents 50% of the final result. Finalists are therefore also encouraged to involve their own networks and communities and build support for their nomination.
The remaining 50% will be decided live during the Silver Jubilee Gala on November 28.
Each finalist will have the opportunity to take the stage and present themselves to the audience one final time. Gala guests will then vote for their preferred candidate, with the combined pre-voting and live-voting results determining the winner.

Applying as an award candidate is free of charge. Finalists are expected to attend the Gala and present on stage during the final voting round.
