Shanghai Unlock: Tax Compliance Session for Foreign Nationals
Jing'an District's "Shanghai Unlock" service initiative returns with a new session on Friday, July 17, focusing on a topic highly relevant to the foreign community: key points of tax compliance for foreign nationals. The session will cover individual income tax filing procedures, available tax reduction and exemption policies, how to choose between itemized deductions and allowance subsidies, the declaration of overseas investment income, and the proper steps for tax settlement when leaving China.
Launched earlier this year, Shanghai Unlock is a service program designed to support international residents in Shanghai with practical guidance on customs clearance, employment, entrepreneurship, and daily life in the city.
The session will be held on Friday, July 17 at 2:00 PM at Jing'an Global Connect (6th Floor, COSMOS Hall, 1600 West Nanjing Road).
