Author: Shanghai BenCham

Our member Shaohe Law Firm is organizing a seminar titled “AI Services Usage by European Enterprises: Legal Compliance from China & EU Perspectives”, together with German Centre Taicang. As the cross-border use of AI services grows and regulation in both China and the EU tightens, the session aims to help European-invested companies understand the compliance obligations and risks that come with using AI tools and to set up stable, compliant usage practices.

The seminar will be led by Ms. Chen Jiawei, Associate at Shaohe Law Firm, who advises clients on IP and data compliance. It covers four areas: the EU legal framework for AI services (GDPR and the AI Act), China’s data and AI regulations, practical compliance risks and solutions for European enterprises, and case analysis with practical suggestions, followed by a Q&A.

The seminar takes place on 29 October 2026 from 14:30 to 15:30 (registration from 14:00) at German Centre Taicang, 16th Floor, Dongting Building, Middle Zhenghe Road 319, Taicang.

It is held in Chinese and aimed at Chinese-speaking participants. Attendance is free of charge, with prior registration required. Please scan the QR code below to register:
