Our member PwC is hosting a free one-hour webcast on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 CEST, exploring how new and existing regulations on AI, data security, and governance are shaping the way multinational companies operate in China. Join PwC's leading experts from Germany and China, alongside CIOs from German HQ and their APAC/China operations, to learn about recent regulation updates, how to adapt operational setup, and how to mitigate corresponding risks.

The session opens with a welcome from Jürgen Schumann, Partner at PwC Germany/China and German Business Group Leader, followed by a keynote on China's AI and data landscape from CY Cheung, Partner and Central China Cyber and Tech Risk Leader at PwC China. The programme continues with a panel on real-world lessons — how MNCs are adapting to China's AI and data regulations — moderated by Hendrik Reese, EMEA Responsible AI Leader at PwC Germany, with panelists Dr. Christian Urhahn (Trumpf China) and CY Cheung, before closing with an open forum and interactive Q&A.

The webcast is aimed at managers and employees in legal, IT, supply chain, compliance, and cyber roles.
