Welcome Natalia Restrepo Vargas, Our New Student Ambassador in Shanghai!
The Benelux Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome Natalia Restrepo Vargas as our new Student Ambassador in Shanghai. Natalia, a Spanish international business student at Rotterdam School of Management (Erasmus University), will take on a key role in enhancing our engagement with Dutch university students in the region.
In her new position, Natalia will act as a central contact point for Dutch students studying or interning in Shanghai. Her responsibilities include supporting their integration into the local professional landscape, promoting Chamber events tailored to their interests, and encouraging broader student participation in our activities. By maintaining consistent communication with students from Dutch universities, Natalia will help ensure that their interests are heard and that they feel connected to both the Chamber and the wider Benelux business community.
Where possible, Natalia will also represent the Dutch student community at Chamber events, strengthening the bridge between our network and the next generation of Dutch professionals in China.
Natalia’s takes part in the Chamber’s intern2China program, which provides international students with a platform to gain professional experience in China. She is currently participating in a four-week cultural and language immersion program before beginning her internship at one of our member companies, MSA. Prior to this, she gained experience in the Dutch business environment through an internship at DEPT®, a global digital agency.
We are excited to have Natalia on board and look forward to the fresh perspectives and enthusiasm she will bring to the Chamber and to the Dutch student community here in Shanghai.
