WLA 2026: an afternoon of recognition and connection

The International Professional Women’s Society (IPWS) will hold its Women Leadership Awards (WLA) 2026 on Saturday, 14 November, at The St. Regis Shanghai Jingan. Now in its 19th year, WLA recognises women leaders and male allies whose work, contribution and support for others deserve to be seen. The Benelux Chamber of Commerce is proud to be among the event partners.

This year’s theme, “Together, We Grow”, reflects the idea that growth often happens when people support each other along the way, whether through leadership, business, mentoring, teamwork, service or simply opening doors for someone else. The afternoon will bring together this year’s finalists, winners, jury members, partners and the wider IPWS community to celebrate people who have led with purpose and created positive change in their field, workplace, business or community.

The programme runs from 11:30 to 16:00 and includes a welcome address, keynote speeches, the announcement of the WLA 2026 winners across the award categories, and a buffet lunch with time for networking. The afternoon will close with a lucky draw, closing remarks and a group photo. The dress code is elegant with a hint of gold or green, representing recognition and celebration, and growth.
