WLA 2026: Nominations Now Open for the Women Leadership Awards

The International Professional Women's Society (IPWS) has announced that nominations for the Women Leadership Awards (WLA) 2026 are now open. Now in its 19th year, the WLA is the longest-running international award in China dedicated to recognizing women leaders of all nationalities and industries in and around Shanghai. This year's theme is Together, We Grow, celebrating the many ways people grow through their work, businesses, communities, and the support they give to others.

Nominations are open to women and male allies whose leadership stories deserve to be seen, whether as colleagues, mentors, peers, entrepreneurs, or young achievers. Nominating someone is an opportunity to celebrate meaningful leadership, give recognition to those whose stories deserve to be shared, and help build a stronger community by highlighting role models who are opening doors for others.

The deadline for submitting nominations is 14 September 2026, with the the awards ceremony taking place on Saturday, 14 November 2026.
